Fellowship Groups
A primary purpose of the church is godly fellowship. True fellowship allows members to develop relationships with one another at a depth necessary to truly care for each others needs and hold one another accountable to the spiritual commitments we have made. For this reason we have reserved Sunday evening for a time to break down into smaller groups to sing, share, pray with one another, and review the sermon for greater understanding and application. We do not believe that small groups are the key to the church (sound teaching is), but they have a valuable function in allowing the body to be spiritually healthy.

What Happens in Fellowship Groups?
Each group will be a bit different, but the general format will be prayer, music, discussion of the
Sunday sermon and then a time of fellowship. The objective of the prayer time is to pray for one another more intimately than is
possible through the relatively casual interaction that goes on Sunday morning.
The goal in the sermon discussion will be to bring out further areas of application in as personal a way as possible.
Additionally, discussing the sermon keeps the groups from being "topic based" and thus each group will be
equally applicable to everyone.
When do groups meet?
Groups meet from February-May, break for the summer, then resume from September-December.
